Generic contraindications common to all blocks are as follows;
Absolute CI: Patient refusal
Allergy to local anaesthetic
Local infection
Relative CI: Coagulopathy
Complications/ SEs: Block-specific complications and side effects (SEs) given for each block
Generic complications/ SEs applying to all blocks:
Ø Block failure
Ø Local anaesthetic toxicity
Ø Intravascular injection
Ø Nerve damage
Ø Infection
Ø Allergic reaction
